Bike Tour Rest Stop in Senja, Norway
This was my first international project, which involved the study of a small rock jetty on the northern part of Senja, a large island off the coast of Norway.
At the start of the jetty is a small, unassuming convenience store. At first glance, one may find it awkward, but the store clerk directs visitors to the area behind the store, where one finds a "cabinet of curiosities", an outdoor museum with artifacts from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At the end of the jetty is a large, lighted island with a fire pit in the middle, where one can have a picnic, look out across the sea, and reflect on the scenery and the strangeness of the Cabinet of Curiosities.
